Emotional Craft Activities

How to teach emotions to children?

I’m going to tell you about our three craft activity today. The subject is facial expressions. We all have feelings during the day. Let’s do activities with feelings.

Sometimes we get upset, sometimes we get happy, sometimes we get desperate. This is more common in children. For example, my daughter is very emotional. Sometimes in the evenings, he sits quietly. That feeling of her makes me think.

Therefore, I decided to do facial expressions Art-Craft Activity. The purpose of my event is to let my daughter know her facial expressions and act accordingly. For example, when he does something that I want him not to do, he gets angry at me by looking at my face.

Our activity materials are very simple and easy to find materials. We’re probably all in the house.

Facial expressions from plastic cups:

We used plastic cups, cotton and black marker pens for this activity. First of all, I put two cups of cotton into it. Then I drew facial expressions on the teeth of the glasses. My drawing isn’t very good, but you can do better.

After the activity was completed, my daughter and I played her facial expressions with drama. We did mini theatres. For example, my daughter Mom and I became her daughter. I was happy when he bought me a present and I chose my facial expression from the glasses.

I have two daughters, one is 4.5 and the other is only 9 months old. I’m very happy to have an event with them. What we’re doing now is a human face. For this face, we used simple materials in the house.

I don’t have to write long, because when you look at the picture, you can understand it very easily. The important thing is to be able to set up games after doing this activity. While learning about facial expressions with my eldest daughter, we aimed to learn about our bodies that are on our faces with my younger daughter. Maybe it’s a little small, but I can hide this material and wait for it to grow.
