Can you believe there was a time (in the not so distant past) that I did not think peanut would ever be able to use scissors?
Silly me-he’s always proving me and my anxiety wrong.OT works, guys. Is this craft perfect? No.But peanut did it nearly on his own,and I think that’s pretty awesome.I made lines on the paper for him to cut around, and then we glued the popsicles on popsicle sticks (these super fun colored ones were from Dollar Tree! Winning!)
Next we used glitter glue (why glitter glue, you ask?Because that’s the first one I grabbed) and stuck on some ”sprinkles”.We used some old scrapbooking paper I had laying around, which I think made the cutting easier, sice it’s a little stiffer. These popsicles incorporated cutting skills, fine motor skills, and lots of good time for verbal skills-talking about colors and shapes.”Pinterest” thanks for the inspiration.,
