Pattern Block

This page contains pattern block puzzles that can be used in early childhood.

• The patterning creates activities such as changing the arrangement of objects, describing, producing. At the same time when the patterning works are done, they are done in the order. It is unexpected that a child who does not have a sorting skill can do the screening.

• The pattern is the building block of algebraic thought. In other words, in order for students to be able to think algebraically they must have the ability to recognize, maintain, and generalize patterns in the sense of numerical relationships.

• Pattern activities that take place in the primary school from the pre-school period have an important role in forming the basis of the algebra. Studies on the relationship between number patterns and numbers in small classes speed up subsequent algebraic development.
