1-Popsticks Counting Activity
Materials:
- Popsticks
- Black pen

Flashback to one of our very first posts!!
Many children struggle with the concept of one-to-one correspondence when counting. These large popsticks with blobs of glitter glue provide a tactile approach to count, order and recognise numbers.
2-Number Match and Counting Wheel
Materials:
- Plastic or wooden clothespin
- Snowflake stickers
- Construction paper
Diy Number Match & Counting Wheel
Have your child count the snowflakes in each section of the wheel and match the correct number on the peg and place the peg onto that section of the wheel.
Number recognition,counting from 1 to 10.
Bonus:fine motor practice for little fingers:)
I stuck the construction paper onto a piece of cardboard to make the wheel thicker.
If I had wooden pegs,I would have used them instead of these plastic ones,or if I had a different colored peg for each number,it would be much better. But I wanted to make use of what I already had.
The idea is from ”pinterest” and I made this number whell six months ago.
